i'm in trouble i'm an addict i'm addicted to this boy She knew she was probably smiling to much. Almost every five seconds she was smiling like a mad woman. She couldn't help it though he just seemed to have that effect on her. Even if they hadn't been talking she felt like she would still be like this just because he was around her. Soon her cheeks would probably start to hurt but even the thought of that couldn't stop her. The fact he was probably looking at her and thinking that she was either slightly deranged or high was enough to make her try to control it but trying was not working right now. "You're probably right, fans can be kinda shallow sometimes.
" She said hoping not to sound too bitchy by saying that even though everyone knew it was true. Isabella was in no situation to talk about anyone being shallow, not really. While she didn't judge other people on their looks she was highly judgmental of her own. Even on her morning runs when there really was hardly anyone else around she had to apply a flawless face of make up before she left and her hair would always be perfect. In fact she would never step outside without either of these things. When you didn't see yourself as a pretty girl you would do everything you could to make yourself more confident. With a sigh she nodded just slightly. It was nice sometimes knowing that there was always someone that cared about her. Especially after her dad died last year, it was just nice knowing there was someone she could always turn to if she needed to. " Yeah, it would be nice if he had an off button though." Sometimes she just felt suffocated by Brayden's particular brand of caring which did involve threatening to kill any boy that ever hurt her on pretty much a daily basis. For this reason she would keep him and Angus apart for as long as possible, presuming that after today she would hang out with Angus again. She hoped she would but she wasn't sure i mean he could only be here because he had no where else to be. Why did he have to laugh again? All it seemed to do was bring a little more color to her cheeks. It really wasn't healthy to be this infatuated with someone that even the smallest hint of a laugh to make you blush and you could barely stop yourself from smiling. " I've had a lot of practice." She said with a slightly nostalgic smile. " I used to cut my Barbie's hair all the time." Did she really just say that? Seriously you would think she was trying to make herself look like a dork. Blushing a little more she let her eyes drop to the floor as she mentally cursed herself for saying something so unbelievably stupid. His voice interrupted her thoughts and she slowly brought her eyes back on a level with hers as she giggled at his words. " It wasn't the best idea i've ever had." She replied as she bit down on the inside of her lip trying to fight crimson color out of her face. " You don't really need make up though." For a few seconds she looked at him in a professional way, the same way she would look at someone that sat in her chair and honestly he didn't need make up in her opinion. If she were honest with him she would have probably told him to shut up and that his legs were better than hers but in her opinion almost everyones legs were. She wouldn't say that though. Isabella would never say anything that would draw attention to her body instead she just shrugged and mumbled something along the lines of " Some people would probably kill for longer legs." It was a safer way to go about it and it didn't expose any of her own insecurities. She smiled yet again and felt a little bit more like an idiot when he thanked her and it was only then she noticed the situation she had made for them. Awkward much? Looking down again and pulling down the hem of her shirt. " Oh sorry, there's a screen at the back." Looking up again she gestured vaguely in the direction of one of those old fashioned Japanese screens that had somehow found it's way into the bands possession even though it was barely ever used apart from by her on the few occasions she got changed in here. With that she sat down feeling rather awkward and not really sure where to look as she took an other drink from her bottle.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ANGUS PATRICK BRODIE !Out of touch. Are we out of time? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"Really?" Angus found himself smiling not only at the comment about the Barbies, but to her reaction after making the comment. He hoped she wasn't blushing because of embarrassment, because she really had no reason to be embarrassed. Angus found it adorable. "Oh no, I think it's cute." And then it was Angus' turn for his cheeks to tint pink. He quickly scrambled for something to say to make his last comment less weird. "I can just picture you with little safety scissors and a Barbie doll. It's cute." Goddamnit. He called her cute again. Angus really couldn't name one person who really wanted to be called cute. They would usually prefer something a little more grown up. But more grown up words couldn't really be used on that mental image. Which just went to show yet another time where Angus should have kept his mouth shut, instead of elaborating on a subject that probably shouldn't have been elaborated on in the first place.
"Why thank you?" Angus wasn't really sure if she was giving him a compliment or stating her personal opinion or maybe but, but he took it as a compliment. "Man you should have seen me in sophomore year of high school. I took make-up to an unhealthy level for any teenage male." Angus shook his head, thinking back to his high school years. Seriously, he wasn't really sure what had been going through his head back then. "I had the rainbow eyeshadow with white eyeliner. It was so gross." Angus wouldn't have normally told people about that. But something in his mind knew that Isabella wouldn't judge him too bad for it. And well she had shared the fact that she used to cut Barbies hair when she was younger, so it was only fair for him to mention an embarassing high school story to balance that out. "I guess so. Sorry, I always sound like a girl when I talk about my legs." His legs were probably the one part of his body that Angus couldn't stand. They were just really gangly and awkward. He like the fact that they were long. But when paired with how skinny he was it just made them look awkward and dorky.
The color of Angus' cheeks didn't return to their normal color or dim at all when she pointed out the screen. If they changed at all they darkened in color, this time from embarassment. His eyes removed themselves from being glued the the words on his shoes over to the screen in the corner. "How did I not notice that before?" This time when Angus laughed, and it was a little more confident then the other one, but it was still a little off. Did he honestly not notice that before? Could he honestly not stop himself from looking like either a complete dork or a complete creeper for five minutes? Yeah, that wasn't going to happen. Angus took another sip of his soda before placing in on the floor. It did absolutely nothing for how dry his throat was at the moment, but it was worth a try. Angus was careful that he stepped around the soda can when he made his way to the big screen. Because the would have just made him look even more lame if he had knocked it over. He stopped in front of the screen, examining the pattern for a second. "How'd you guys even find this? It's super rad."
When Angus finally stepped behind the screen, he attempted to let his mind and heart-rate even out so they were at a steady or somewhat normal pace. Yeah, it wasn't working well at all. The flush on his cheeks faded a bit so it no longer matched the color of his shorts and bandana, but it was still very pink and very noticeable. As Angus went to slip the shorts off and replace them with the jeans he kept his balance as best as he possibly could. It would have sucked so bad if he lost his balance and fell. He probably would have ended up attempting to grab the screen to get his balance back and the screen would have just come down with him. Talk about embarassing. Fortunately though he managed to change from one garment to the next without too much damage. The jeans fit him well, and even if they hadn't he would have worn them. Because anything beat that string of fabric that the stylist had referred to as 'shorts'. And then Angus found himself biting his nails. He had broken that habit a long time ago, so when he found that he was practically gnawing on his fingernails he knew he needed to just calm down for a second. After taking a deep but inaudible breath he stepped out from behind the screen with the shorts in his hand. "How do I look?" He stuck a 'manly pose'. That was definitely something that was an Angus thing to do. So he wasn't acting totally different around Isabella. But his comfort level in doing anything was way off. i'm in trouble i'm an addict i'm addicted to this boy Her hands had balled into fists and were nervously playing with the fabric of her shirt. It was an annoying habit, well she thought it was annoying and her mother had often told her to stop it but she just couldn't help it. He spoke and she just nodded. Why the hell was she nodding so much? Normally she would just say yeah or some other word to the same effect but for some reason around this boy the ability to do that was lost on her. Thank god she could manage to speak at least some of the time. Was it that hard to have a normal conversation with someone you liked without embarrassing yourself? When he spoke next she raised her eyes just a little bit. Not enough that she was looking at him directly but she was no longer staring at the floor. He thought it was cute. Did she want that? cute was better than idiotic at least. She was trying to think of the correct way to answer that. To thank him or just shrug it off or think of something witty to say. Before she could say anything he spoke again, describing quite accurately how she first ventured into her future career. A unsure little giggle escaped her lips as she looked up fully "My mom didn't really think so though.
" For the first time a slight, almost unnoticeable smirk passed onto her lips and she was acting like herself for just a split second. No matter who mentioned it the make up artist in Bella couldn't really cope with the idea of white eyeliner and rainbow eyeshadow. It was just a look that no one could be able to pull off unless they were going for a bad drag queen look but she didn't think she could say that to Angus. " Yikes, bet it was interesting though." She said trying not to imagine it because she knew the moment she did that she would probably physically shudder and that would not help her none idiotic image. He apologized and she had no idea how to respond. A tiny laugh that was a little less shaky than her last but maybe just a little quieter was her back up as she shook her head. Seriously what was with all the head movements. " Nah i'm used to that." Well it was true. In her line of work she was surrounded by girls and men that acted like them. She was probably slightly more at home around more effeminate men than super manly ones but she wasn't going to say that because she didn't want him thinking she thought he was girlish or anything cause she didn't and now she was arguing with herself in her head and well that was never good. " We have a lotta junk in here. It's kinda hard to notice anything." She spoke with a slight edge in her voice that hinted that the situation annoyed her. Like i said before Bella was a neat freak. The fact that there were things in the room that no one needed and no one used just bothered her. She was all for having keepsakes and reminders of people and places but not when they were left laying in the middle of the floor where she had to step over them every time she walked across the room. When it came to that screen she really didn't have any idea. It had just always been in the dressing room even back home in Ohio it was just there. " Honestly i have no idea. It just kinda appeared one day i guess." It was a stupidly simple answer that she scolded herself for mentally almost as soon as she had said it but it was the closest to an explanation she could give. While Angus was getting changed she made herself comfortable on the couch being very aware of HI much room she was taking up. Taking a deep breathe she tried to tell herself to just calm down. There really was no reason to feel like this other than she was in the presence of someone she thought was truly amazing. She didn't even know him that well but she thought that if she had the chance to get to know him better she would adore him even more. Physically he was pretty much perfect but she didn't really like to judge people on looks. It was hard not to though when he was so freaking gorgeous that she could barely form a coherent sentence in his presence. Laughing as he stepped back into her view and struck his little pose she nodded her head yet again and heard that little voice tell her to stop acting like an idiot yet again. " Looks good." She was trying to be casual and not gush about how amazing he looked and so far it was working as she mindlessly turned the bottle in her hands. " Glad i could help out."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ANGUS PATRICK BRODIE !Out of touch. Are we out of time? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"And being interesting is the most positive comment anybody could ever possibly make about it." That was one of the many phases that Angus had gone through in his life that he definitely wasn't proud of. "Seriously, nobody would be able to pull that off because nobody in their right mind would actually wear something like that." Angus didn't bother mentioning that during that phase he wasn't in his right mind. He also didn't manetion that during the past several phases of his life, not including the current one, were ones that he hadn't been in his right mind during. He had been so several different types of drugs during those phases. And it had once gotten so bad that he couldn't get out of bed because he was so high. But he wasn't ready to tell that to Isabella yet. He didn't need Isabela thinking that he was a drug addicted convict on top of the fact that he was a creepy nerd. Because then he would just have nothing going for him in life. And he didn't, but he was going to change that soon. "And then I went to just solid colors, and at one point I used to draw swirly designs all over my face." Those weren't equally as bad. They were as obnoxious or as noticeable. But it definitely earned Angus as much criticism and as many nasty comments from the kids he went to school with. "And eventually I decided that make-up just wasn't for me."
Angus couldn't help but to notice the slightly annoyed tone of voice when she mentioned that it was hard to notice much. "Well that's not totally a bad thing. It gives the dressing room some character and makes it feel more like home." Not that a dressing room really needed to have character or feel like home. The band spent about five or ten minutes in there getting ready and the rest of the time they were either on stage or chilling backstage. "But having eight homes packed into one room can get a little cluttered I guess." Angus had always been somewhat of a packrat. He had so many things that he didn't need that it could drive a person crazy. Angus had tons of pictures and knick-knacks of all kinds. He just couldn't bring himself to throw away anything that could be of sentimental value to him, even if they brought up painful memories.
"Well you all are smart to have kept it around." Angus made yet another mental note to find out where exactly they sold these things and to get one for the Zombie Block Party dressing room. Angus was, as mentioned before, totally comfortable with being naked or half-naked in front of people, with the exception of Isabella, but his band mates made to incredibly difficult for him to be comfortable with being in the same room as them naked. "There are some people that I am literally scarred from seeing in the nude." Angus didn't bother mentioned that he actually had scars from seeing people naked before. See, they liked to play that game from the movie Waiting. The one that involved pulling your pants down and someone's name. And the minute they turned around they got a nice eye-full of your junk. And when they flinched and looked away as quickly as possible, then you know you had won. But you didn't fully get the taste of victory until you got to kick them in the ass and call them either a pervert or a homosexual. Even the girls took part in the game to make sure that no one could possibly be safe. And as much fun as the game proved to me, Angus seriously didn't need to see certain people's junk ever again...EVER. It could also make your rear end hurt after a while.
Angus would have to return these pants, which meant he would have to get her number or screenname. Which meant that he would get to spend time with or at least see Isabella again. The mere thought sent the corners of Angus' mouth upwards into a small smile. Who cares if it would be a forced meeting. Angus was willing to take whatever time he could get with Isabella. "Yeah, thanks again. I really owe you for this." A hand rose from Angus' side to mess with the hair on the side of his head. It was another nervous habit that made him appear overly feminine. He noticed it a second later and his hand dropped back down to his side quickly. As he mentally cursed his brainlessness, he made his way back to the couch. Angus was once again cautious of the soda on the ground when he plopped back down onto the couch, careful of where Isabella's form was placed. He tucked the shorts next to him on the couch and leant back against it. He tilted his head towards Isabella, with a smile once again gracing his lips. "So tell me some more about your beautiful life." i'm in trouble i'm an addict i'm addicted to this boy The fact he could laugh about it made her feel a lot more comfortable about feeling the same way even if she didn't show it. It was quite true that it was a look that no one would really want to try it out. Well no one sane but the way Bella seen it no teenager really was sane. It was the one time in your life when you were allowed to be a little bit insane and well it was the time to experiment and sometimes experimenting meant rainbow eyeshadow. "At least no one could say you weren't creative.
" She said with a slight smile. Creativity was always attractive in a person but she already knew that Angus had to be somewhat creative. Musicians had to be after all and Isabella had always envied those with musical talent. Anyone could be taught the proper way to apply make up but no matter how hard you tried if you didn't have a knack for it you could never be that good with an instrument. " Luckily for you you're male and can make that choice." She added with a slight laugh. If she thought she could get away with it she probably would have at least a few days when she wouldn't wear any make up. Home was a strange concept to Bella. Growing up she had had a new home every two years or so which meant none of them ever really felt that much like a proper home. Not to her at least. " Hmm yeah and no home is complete without a stack of pizza boxes" Some of them no doubt still had at least a few slices inside. Bella had flat out refused to take them out to the trash since she hadn't ordered or eaten any of it so why should she clean up? There were things that belonged to everyone in here, even people that had nothing to do with the band. It just sorta ended up in here for some reason. I guess it was better than on the bus. She fought the urge to nod as she answered him. " Yeah, somethings you just don't need to see." There was a tiny edge of a laugh in her voice but really that screen had probably saved her for ripping out her eyes. When you worked with family you learned to appreciate the little things like not having to watch your brother get changed and when they finally got round to fixing the lock on the bathroom door. Now that had been a fun few weeks. Angus could keep the pants as far as Bella was concerned. Well he could do whatever he wanted with them really it wasn't like anyone was gonna miss them. In fact they would probably just turn into one of those things that just followed them around the country taking up space in the dressing room and never even being looked at let alone worn but that was something they could work out later. He thanked her again and she annoyed herself by shaking her head gently in response. " It's nothing, really." She said this with an genuine smile on her lips and a warm, caring tone in her voice. She really did like to look after people and no matter how much they tried to tell her they owed her or wanted to do something in return she rarely let them. " My life? Hmmm it's not really that interesting." Pausing for a moment she tried to think of what she could say that wouldn't make her look like a complete idiot again. " We moved around a lot when i was growing up." She carefully missed out the fact that this had left her with few close friends other than Brayden. " We kinda ended up in Ohio a few years ago. I guess i couldn't take the whole sticking around in one place too long thing." She said with a bit of a laugh and a shrug not sure if this was what he had wanted to know. Pushing a strand of hair off of her face she smiled over at him. " So what about you?"[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ANGUS PATRICK BRODIE !Out of touch. Are we out of time? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"Well girls don't have to wear make-up." Angus leaned towards Isabella to get a better look at her face. Yeah, if his blush had disappeared at all it was back. It wasn't quite as severe as it had been before, but it was definitely still there. He nodded and leaned back against the back of the couch, and his air of confidence reappeared. "Like I bet you look great without make-up." He leaned down to pick his soda up off of the ground and took a sip. That soda really wasn't doing anything for how dry his throat was. It was probably just making it worse, or maybe it was just the fact that he was talking to Bella. Wait a second, what if she thought he was saying that she didn't look great with make-up on? The damage control part of Angus' brain kicked in and he immediately said something to try and correctly state what he said before. "Not that you don't look great with make-up." Somehow the damage control center of Angus' brain got a little out of whack and he continued running his mouth. "I was just saying that you probably look just as great either way." Finally before he said something he would regret or not be able to fix he took a sip of the soda he held in his hand. He wouldn't dare speak with a mouth full of soda.
Angus laughed at Bella's comment about pizza boxes. So she did have a sense of humor. She may not have meant it to be a joke, but he did take it that way "Seriously." Speaking of home, Angus had no idea what was going with his apartment back home. Somebody had probably already moved in and dumped all his stuff onto his parents. He should probably call them soon. He promised himself that he would call them the minute he woke up the next day. And that was a promise he intended to keep up. "I bet the tween fans would pay quite a heavy fee to get into the dressing rooms to see just some of the stuff that we've been forced to see." For a second Angus considered selling his band mates and letting the fans do that. But that just would have been cruel, and he didn't doubt that the other members of Zombie Block Party would come up with an equally as evil way to get back at him for it.
"I've heard Ohio is a pretty cool place." Angus didn't really notice how broad the question was until he had to answer himself. Where exactly was he supposed to start with a question like that? At that point he felt kind of stupid, but it was too late to turn back by that point. "Well I was born and spent my entire life in Boston." Angus smiled at the thought of his hometown. There was nothing quite like being in Boston, well at least in Angus' opinion. There was just something interesting to do no matter what your interests were. "It is was an always will be my favorite city in the world." Most people from Boston probably would have said the same thing. If you were from Boston, or pretty much from anywhere in Massachusetts you had to have that kind of pride. It was just something you were raised with. "You should totally visit there when the tour is all over with. I will be your personal your guide." He could picture it now. They'd spend the whole day out and he would show her everything about the best city in the world. And then after they'd go home and cuddle. He knew he was getting ahead of himself, but the mental image just looked so perfect to him.
After he mentioned his hometown, Angus really couldn't think of anything else to say. So he just spit out the first thing that came to mind. "I have been in trouble with the law on more than one occasion." Way to totally crush the moment Angus. Of course. The first thing that came to mind just had to be something that would have the biggest influence in his life, and probably make Bella want him out of that dressing room as soon as possible. Angus prepared himself for when she was going to rush him out in a hurry. Why would she want to be around someone who had spent a year of their life in jail? Why the hell would he tell her something like that so soon? He wasn't talking to just anybody here. Isabella wasn't just another dumb fan that already knew everything about him anyway. Angus looked turned his eyes away from Isabella. It could have easily been taken as just moving his eyes for the sake of making it not look like he was staring at her, but it was actually more out of shame than anything else. They immediately dropped to the bottle in his hands, and he turned it over a few times before speaking again. "I have stayed out of trouble lately though." i'm in trouble i'm an addict i'm addicted to this boy Isabella was not good at taking compliments. Right now that comforted her because she knew that the new wave of red over her cheeks would have happened anyway no matter who she was talking too. The truth was she hadn't seen herself without make up in years. Yes it sounded strange but it definitely was true. Pretty much the first thing she did each morning was stumble into the bathroom. By now she didn't really need to look in the mirror to apply her usual look. "I don't know about that.
" She said with a nervous laugh refusing to make eye contact. Now she probably sounded like a self conscious little girl. Well she was a self conscious little girl but she would have been happy for him not to know that. " I mean. I'm just used to doing it now." She was sure that this didn't make it seem any better but there was no other words she could think off. A small shiver ran along her spine as the mentioned the fans. Well she had had some interesting experiences with her brothers fans to say the least. Including the time they had seen a picture of them together and assumed they were dating. That was enough to mentally scar her. " Don't even go there. I've been asked things no sister should be asked." She said with an other shudder as she thought of all the extremely personal questions she had been asked over the years since the band got together. Seriously did people really expect her to know that kinda stuff? " I really don't know how you guys can put up with it." It really did confuse her how people could live with the eyes of the world upon them. She could barely function in a room full of people let alone have people trying to work out every little detail of her life. She nodded slightly and yet again scolded herself for it. " Yeah, it's alright." Ohio had never really felt like a real home, even less since her father died which was kinda the reason she had ended up on the tour. Both her and Brayden just needed to get away from the memories. If she thought hard about it she could probably have remembered a couple of months spent in Boston when she was very young but right now she was in no state to think hard about anything. " Really? That's pretty awesome." Anyone she had ever met from Boston was incredibly enthusiastic about it. He offered to be her tour guide and she gave a naturally warm smile. " I'd like that. She said in an equally warm voice. He really wanted to hang out after the tour and well she wasn't about to pass that up. The next thing he said was kinda weird. For some reason she found herself sitting up a little bit straighter and tilted her head just a little. It didn't seem like something you would just blurt out to anyone but then again she didn't know that. He could tell everyone he met about this. What exactly could she say about it? There wasn't much she could say without knowing exactly what he had done and well she wasn't about to ask that so she was very thankful when he spoke again. " Well that's a good thing." She said with a small smile. She wanted to let him know that she was here to support him but she had only just met him and that might have seemed a bit weird. The smile she hoped was enough to let him know that she hadn't decided right than and there that he was evil and had to get out. There was so many things she could have said but most of it would have sounded condescending.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ANGUS PATRICK BRODIE !Out of touch. Are we out of time? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -The heart-beat in Angus' chest almost immediately increased when he saw the flush on Bella's cheeks. By this point Angus was sure that Bella could hear it. That thumping noise in Angus' chest was so loud that he could hear it in his ears. And it may not have made sense to anyone else for his heart to be beating just because he was talking to this girl, but to Angus it made perfect sense. He kind of wished that it would stop though. Because the last thing Angus needed at this point in their conversation was for Bella to hear it any ask what it was. Because well...that would be incredibly awkward to have to explain that it was his heartbeat and that she was adorable. He could probably blame it on the crowd out enjoying the show, but then he would just be lying, and he didn't need to lie that early. "Well clearly this is where we must have our first disagreement." Angus shrugged his shoulders and let a few chuckles pass through his lips. But he was being serious. He was almost one hundred percent sure that Isabella could walk up to him in a fat suit with the rainbow eye shadow and the white eyeliner, and she would still be able to reduce him to a bumbling idiot by just saying something as simple as hello.
"Oh god really?" Angus could only imagine the horrors of the things Bella had been asked about her brother. If the kid had a fan club for his hair then his fans must have no shame when it comes to asking about other...somewhat more personal areas. Some fans just had no sense of privacy at all. Normally Angus would be more than happy to answer any questions that his fans had about his personal life. But when they actually started asking other people, then it probably would have gone a little too far for his liking. It had been a little weird at first when people were asking questions that Angus wasn’t even sure he’d ask himself. If you were the kind that was uncomfortable with that sort of thing, you learned how to dodge those questions; but if you weren’t super uncomfortable with them you just learned to give the people what they wanted. "Eh, you kind of learn to deal with it all after a while.” Exposing yourself to the public was either something that you were made and totally lived for, or it was something you’d rather die than do. There were very few famous people who were stuck somewhere in the middle, or would rather die. If you wanted the fame, then you better get used to people to know every intimate detail about every single thing you did.
"Yeah, Boston has a little for something for everyone." Just talking about the place was making Angus a little homesick. He had almost refused to go on the tour so he could get his life back in order. But one of the biggest steps in recovering from a slight drug addiction and first getting out of jail was to avoid the spots where you either did the drug or the place where you were arrested. And Angus couldn't really afford to mess up anymore, so he agreed to the tour. But that didn't make him any less anxious to get back home. And if Bella was with him, that would make it ten times cooler because not only would Angus be able to share knowledge about the place he loved but with someone who was as rad as Bella? You just couldn't lose. Angus probably could have gotten up and done a victory dance when Bella said she would enjoy him being her tour guide. He managed to control himself, but he couldn't help but grin. "Awesome." There was a slightly dreamy quality to his voice that Bella was bound to notice, but Angus didn't really mind at that point. That simple answer was all it took for Angus' mind to set to work planning what they would do and when. He was getting way to ahead of himself, but why spoil the fun and slow down?
"Yeah, sorry about that. I just kind of said the first thing that came to mind without really thinking.” It was a dumb comment on his part, but Angus couldn’t really just let something like his previous comment just hang in the air in such a manner. Angus chuckled half-heartedly and his eyes stared down at the soda that he kept turning over in his hands. The poor mind hidden under all that blonde hair still hadn't stopped racing since he first started speaking with Bella. He just couldn't really find the right words. So instead of saying words that wouldn't really have an impact, it was almost like he had chosen the worst words possible and the worst thing possible to tell her about him. He was trying his hardest to slow it down so he didn't say anything quite as idiotic as his previous statement. He noticed that Bella was now sitting a little straighter, but she hadn't pushed him out the door yet, so that had to be a good sign. But that silence was heavy and a subject change was needed and it was needed quickly. "So how has your tour been so far? Any crazy parties?" Angus just had to focus on the negative didn't he?

i'm in trouble i'm an addict i'm addicted to this boy The fact she had just met this boy and he was complimenting her like this was sending Bella's mind into overdrive. It was beyond her understanding how anyone could ever notice her at all let alone think she would look half way decent without her make up on. Even her ex boyfriends hadn't thought that, or rather they didn't get the chance to think that. She had never really allowed any of them to see her without her mask. Even on nights she stayed at there houses or they stayed at hers, the lights were always out by the time she washed it off and she would get up early to put it all back on before they woke up. The only thing she wanted to say was honestly, no but that would make her seem very very childish and she didn't want that. Instead she just smiled a nervous little smile and fought the urge to shrug again. "I guess it is.
" She was trying to sound light hearted and well it was kind of working. After all Bella was good at acting. Nodding yet again she could feel her blush fading again. It seemed like every time the spoke about something other than her she would calm down just a little bit. " Some of it is just plain scary. Like stuff i would never even want to know." She said with an other noticeable shudder. These girls really wanted to know things that were straight out wrong. It just weirded her out that there were people out there that knew every detail about other peoples lives. There had been times that when she was with Bray fans would come up to talk to him and already know who she was. It was crazy. " I guess it's what some people want." She said as she thought of the bands new bestest friend Isaac who seemed to adore all the attention he got. Really it was just part of the job when you thought about it. She smiled at the new tone that had crept into his voice. It was cute, well cuter than he already was. It had always been one of those places she thought she might like to visit and now she had a reason too. Hopefully by then she would have spent a lot more time around Angus and actually be able to hold a conversation with him without blushing and making herself sound like an idiot. If that all worked out she couldn't think of anything better than spending a day with him away from all the stress of the tour. Even if she was still a blushing, babbling wreck she still couldn't think of a better way to spend a day. Sure she would probably embarrass herself but just one of his smiles seemed to make it worth it. He spoke, trying to defend what he had said and instinctively she shook her head. " Don't worry about." She said softly in a reassuring tone. " We were talking about your life and that's been a part of it." She said again in that soft voice which really showed that she wasn't about to freak out on him or even think badly of him about it. With a relaxed smile she settled back into her original position and made herself comfortable again. Over the years she had built up what she thought was a pretty good judge of character and so far she thought Angus was a real nice guy so she didn't see why she should freak out. People do things they regret all the time and she didn't really believe they should be punished for that. Bring her soda to her lips again to take an other drink as she ran her fingers through her hair self consciously. " I've been to a few, i'm usually the one making sure everyone gets home though." The blush came back as she realized how boring that made her sound. " I'm pretty much the unofficial mom around here." She said with a bit of a giggle trying to explain it in a way that seemed a little better, even though that statement didn't seem to do that.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ANGUS PATRICK BRODIE !Out of touch. Are we out of time? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"I've actually been asked a few questions involving things that I didn't even want to know about myself." Seriously, these fans had never heard of the word privacy. That was like some foreign concept that existed on when your name hadn't been in a magazine. But once that name was typed on that glossy magazine paper, it was all over. Everything they could possibly ask, they would ask. Some were things that were easy to deal with. Like 'Have you ever hung out with Tommy Lee?'. But some of them were just plain goddamn weird. And not only weird but kind of stalkerish. Angus actually remembered being asked by a fan that appeared to be about thirteen years old, 'What noise did you make when you orgasmed for the first time? Was it like a moan or a gasp?' Direct quote. Angus couldn't even answer it with a straight face. He had to laugh and pretend to think it was a joke to prevent himself from three miles in the opposite direction. "True that." Angus was all about getting the message out through music. That was an honorable reason to be a musician in his eyes. But Angus didn't actually think he would expose himself in such ways just because he enjoyed it. It was just one of those things that you put up with when you became a rockstar. It definitely wouldn't have been his sole purpose for joining a band.
Angus froze when he realized the tone of voice he was using. He hadn't used that tone since he had his first actual girlfriend in seventh grade. He sounded like some dorky little kid who had a heavy crush on a teacher. Sure he was dorky, and he was kind of little stature-wise, but this didn't really count as a heavy crush, well at least not yet anyway. He just happened to have taken a particular interest in this Bella girl, and from what he had seen so far she seemed to be interested enough in him to at least hang out with him again. And well it may not have been quite what he was thinking, but it was a start. Then again, Angus' mind was already wondering what his parents would say about her when he introduced them. Yeah, he was getting way to ahead of himself, and he just needed to slow down for a second.
Angus could have sworn that he felt his heart crawl from the bottom of his stomach back up to it's rightful place in his chest when Bella said that he shouldn't worry about it. He felt a little less dumb about his previous statement, but it was still stuck in his mind. "Okay." That was all he could possibly think to say. He felt a little better when she settled back into her original position on the couch. If it had been anyone else Angus probably would have scrambled to describe some interesting situation that made him the victim and the law the enemy. But the law wasn't the enemy, and Angus fully understood that. He took full and total responsibility for his actions. He had served his time, and he really didn't plan on serving any more than he already had. Sure he hadn't been to jail for murder or rape, it was just a charge of assault and battery. And although it was a heavy charge to have on his record, the reasoning was kind of fuzzed. It had just been a bar fight that had gotten blown way out of proportion. Angus had lost his temper, and the few times Angus actually lost his temper got him in ridiculous amounts of trouble and well that guy had just been there.
Angus laughed along with Bella. It wasn't the kind of laugh where he was making fun of her, because he wasn't at all. It was just strange to see someone who was on tour and as attractive as she was that wasn't either a drug addict, a whore or both. "Well some might tell you otherwise, but I personally think that is ten times cooler then being just another party kid." Angus could help but to crack a smile at the thought of Bella being like an unofficial mother for the kids on tour. The mental image was definitley a positive one. It was nice to know that somebody on this tour had a good head on their shoulders. That was definitely a quality that Angus could respect in a person. It was surprisingly that she was associating herself with someone as troublesome as Angus was, but hey he definitely wasn't complaining. For a second Angus actually contemplated getting himself into a bit of trouble. If it would keep Bella around it might be worth it, but his mind quickly shut out that possibility. He wanted Bella to actually like him, and that thought made him seem like a burden. Burdens were usually the last things that people as radical as Bella would want to date. i'm in trouble i'm an addict i'm addicted to this boy She laughed at his comment. These kids really did feel like it was there right to know everything about these people. Seriously it was like the moment you became popular there was no such thing as privacy. That was why Isabella was quite happy that she had no musical talent what so ever. She was happy just to linger in the background and have her work admired even though no one would know it was hers. Most people just assumed that everyone looked after themselves before going on stage. The truth was that on the few occasions she had left people to straighten their own hair using her straighteners they had ended up with burns on their necks and ears. But if people wanted to believe that she wasn't going to start complaining about it.
For some reason she found herself needing to change position. normally she was quite happy sitting with her legs tucked under her but right now she had that annoying feeling of pins and needles creeping into her feet. Slowly she rearranged her body so that her legs were crossed in front of her like how a child sits on the floor. She also turned around at this moment so that her back was resting against the arm rest and she was facing Angus. Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea considering she could barely talk while looking at him but this was how she was comfortable.
The more she thought about it the more she liked the fact that Angus had told her about his past. Sure it probably wasn't something he was proud of and wanted everyone to know. The fact he was honest enough to tell her about it, well that made her like him even more than she already did. That in itself was amazing because she didn't know it was actually possible to like someone more than she already did. Well actually she did because there was love but she wasn't thinking about that she was thinking about those feelings you get before love because she fully believed that love was something that would grow between two people.
She blushed slightly and found herself looking down again. "Thanks?
" It wasn't meant to come out like that. Like an unsure question but she couldn't help it right now. Everything she said seemed to come out completely different from how it was in her head and that was annoying to say the least. " It can get a little annoying sometimes but someones gotta do it." She said with a slight smile as she thought of all the times she had to try and support people much bigger than her who could barely stand and the one night she had had to drive clear across town like three times to pick people up and make sure they got home. But that was Bella she was all about looking after people.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ANGUS PATRICK BRODIE !Out of touch. Are we out of time? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Angus shrugged his shoulders a bit, with a slight nod of his head in a half-way agreement with Bella's statement. It was true that having someone to play the tour mother was helpful, and probably necessary to continue to have proper health. But Angus had survived without a tour mother during his first three tours. Then again, Angus also emerged from those tours with several marks on his record and a cocaine addiction. Yeah, a tour mother was actually absolutely necessary. "Well I definitely respect that you took the initiative to become the unofficial tour mother. Party kids are superbly lame." Angus had met enough of them. He was sure that even if Bella had been a party kid he would have taken a particular interest in her, but he was glad that she was different. It was more interesting that way.
And then Angus heard it. It was a small noise, and for a split second Angus thought he heard a fairy enter the room. Yeah he was weird like that. Yeah he probably would have believed it was true if he didn't recognize the noise so well. And there was also that small vibration in his back pocket that kind of gave it away. His phone was going off and he had a text message. It was probably Jacob or one of the other members of Zombie Block Party asking where exactly he was. It was definitely unlike him to just disappear after a set like that. Normally he would be found with fans either being incredibly inappropriate, or with the rest of the band...being incredibly inappropriate. He was never found just hanging out, especially with a member of the opposite sex. Now that was practically unheard of, and his band mates were destined to comment about it. But the weird part was that it didn't really bother him at all, and with any other girl it probably would have. But Bella was different and Angus could tell. He might have been totally wrong and she might be exactly like every other girl he has ever met. But for the time being, she was amazing and he was going to enjoy that time.
"Oh man, I'm sorry." Angus had never really been taught how to react in a situation like the one he was currently in. So he just did whatever he thought was right. With a slightly annoyed expression (that he made sure wasn't directed at Isabella) Angus reached into his back pocket and grabbed onto his cell phone. He pulled out the little piece of technology and glanced at the screen for a second. Yeah, the text was from a band mate. And yes, it was asking him where he was. Instead of texting back like he would have usually he locked his phone and slipped it back into his back pocket. Of course. Of all the possible times in the world, they had to text him at the moment where he wanted to hold a decent conversation with a member of the opposite sex. Before the cell was even all the way in his pocket, it rang again. But this time Angus didn't pull it back out. He already knew who it was from, and he wasn't going to bother looking cause he already knew what is said.
"Okay, well I should probably duck out of here before your brother barges in and thinks I'm some kind of creeper." Angus could only imagine what her brother would do to him. Angus may have had a lot of fight in him, but he didn't know how big this guy was and Angus could only handle so much beat down. Angus rose from his seat, picking up his shorts as he did so. "Thanks a lot for the soda." His lips almost automatically twisted upwards into a warm smile. Angus really didn't want to leave; he didn't want to go hang out with his band mates. He just wanted to stay and spend some more time with Isabella, but if he did there would be endless verbal abuse from those kids he made music with. "So uhm, do you want me to like give me your number so I can return these pants?" Wow. Something was seriously up with Angus. Normally he had no trouble at all asking for girls’ phone numbers. He actually didn't even have to ask for them; he usually didn't have time to speak before he got phone numbers. But there was some kind of mental road block when Angus tried to ask Isabella for hers. i'm in trouble i'm an addict i'm addicted to this boy Isabella blushed again, looking down to try and avoid his gaze. This was simply her natural role. No matter what happened she was always the one who stayed one step behind everyone picking up the pieces and cleaning up the mess. It had started with looking after her band and the rest of the crew but slowly everyone else started relying on her. She was the one that could cook pretty much anything and still have it taste amazing even when she was using the stupid kitchen area of one of the buses and barely ever tasted anything she had made herself. "Someone has to make sure everyone lives through this.
" There was an obvious joking quality to her voice that stopped her from sounding too serious as she somehow managed to bring her eyes back to meet his for just a few seconds before she felt the urge to giggle and looked away again. For a moment she thought she imagined that little noise but that only lasted for a second. That little vibrating noise that phones always seemed to make even when they weren't on vibrate was well known to her. Lately she had barely been able to work on a certain singer without hearing his phone go off just about every five seconds. It did make things a little difficult but she learned to work around it after the one time she took the phone off him all together and was met with the arrival of an annoyed Isaac Hilton who only made her job even harder between being all over her current client and flirting with her. Yes phones were playing a big part in Isabella's life round about now. " Seriously don't worry about it." She said with a slight smile before she took a sip from her bottle. The drink did nothing to cool her down but it was a subtle way of taking her attention off of him while he read whatever it was he had been sent. It was one of her personal hates to have someone looking at her while she was answering a message or even just reading it. It was a privacy thing she supposed. Maybe it was just her but she wasn't totally sure about that so she liked to give people their space. When he didn't reply she kinda guessed that it was either something not important or someone demanding his presence. When she heard it go off again she decided it was probably the latter. He spoke and she bit her lip gently to stop herself from looking to disappointed. There was nothing she could say because if Brayden were to walk in right now he would probably think just that, when it came to Bella he didn't trust any of the boys on this tour. Out of habit she stood up at the same time she did nervously pulling down the hem of her shirt that had risen ever so slightly to show the tiniest slither of skin. " It's nothing really." She said with a smile when he thanked her. It was on the tip of her tongue to tell him that he could come hang out any time but that just seemed too forward for shy little Isabella. " You don't need to bother returning them, just do whatever you want with them." She said as she walked over to her table and picked up a pen and a piece of paper quickly scribbling down her number. " But heres my number anyway."" She said in a voice that kept it from sounding as suggestive as it could have been as she bit down on her lip again and handed him the paper.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ANGUS PATRICK BRODIE !Out of touch. Are we out of time? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Angus nodded in agreement with Bella's comment. Tour life was really hard. It really took it's toll on some people. It actually took it's toll on all people. Angus had yet to meet someone who hadn't experimented with drugs or alcohol in their time on tour. Even the innocent people weren't all that innocent. Even three of Angus' best friends from Zombie Block Party were straightedge but they had their issues with the substances before they went edge. Hell, tours even had the potential to ruin relationships. Angus could remember tours ruining them for him on more than one occasion. It had gotten so bad that eventually Angus just kind of gave up on relationships all together. But somewhere in his mind Angus knew that it wasn't the touring that had ruined his relationships. It was because he was a dumb druggie asshole and those girls weren't afraid to tell him that. Maybe things would change eventually, but for the time being Angus was still a dumb druggie asshole.
Isabella's statement about the jeans caused Angus' mind to become a little frazzled. It started moving at an abnormal pace once again. Once one thought came up it was quickly replaced with another. Shit. What if she just didn't want to give him her phone number because she thought he was going to stalk her? Well maybe she just thought he wanted to so he could return the pants. Should he ask her if she wanted to hang out again, or would asking something like that be too forward of him? She was probably just too creeped out by him and wanted to get him out. All thoughts were silenced when she offered him the slip of paper with her number written on it. "Alright cool." Angus could have done a dance. He just had to make sure that it was actually her phone number. But that could be saved for later. He mind jump started a moment later as he took the paper to slip into the front pocket of the jeans. Well she said that he didn't have to return the jeans but she had still given him her phone number. Clearly she wasn't running to fast in the opposite direction.
Before Bella's hand could retreat back to her side Angus reached out and grabbed onto it. He held it gently so she could pull away and punch him if shse chose to do so. The contact between his hand and hers made his cheeks flush, but once more he ignored the heat. He pulled a simple black pen out of the pocket of the red shorts in his hand. He slid the cap off and placed it between his teeth for a second. Angus had learned to be prepared when it came to things like carrying pens. He scribbled his phone number on it quickly, and above the number he wrote his name and put a tiny heart at the end. Clearly he was slowly slipping back into his comfort zone because that was definitely something that the normal Angus would have done. Angus released her hand a second later with a warm smile playing across on his features. His mind frantically searched for a reason to give her as to why he had just scribbled his phone number on her hand but yet again he came up with nothing. "I don't know. Maybe it'll come in handy eventually." Normally that comment would have been followed by a wink, but Angus didn't really feel the need to make him look any creepier.
Angus slipped the pen into the pocket of the jeans, and stepped back. "Okay well I guess I'll see you later then." He gave her another warm smile before he started to head towards the door. And then he did it. The one thing that no matter who you are, it will make you look like a total dork. He stumbled. Over nothing. There was virtually nothing where he was standing but the floor. It wasn't a full on trip, but it wasn't something he could easily cover up. "Whoa." Angus managed to regain his footing and catch himself before he tumbled backwards onto the floor, but the damage had already been done. He looked like a total dweeb, and it definitely wasn't something that he could easily bounce back from. So instead of flipping out, Angus just laughed it off. "Okay we're good." It was something the normal Angus would have done so he felt a little better about it. Before he stepped out the door he gave a small wave paired with a smile before stepping outside. When he was finally out of her view he felt himself relax and step back into the normal Angus mode. Goddamn, he needed a cigarette and a line isabella! outfit: clickeh!lyric credit: again i go unnoticed - dashboard confessional word count: eight-hundred and twenty-one! notes: angus=epic dork.[/ul]
